Sales Manager

Concord, ON

Salary Range:  $130-170k

Currently seeking a motivated Sales Manager for our client located in Concord, ON.  This is one of 8 branches located in ON and QC.  High potential for advancement!

Responsibilities

·         Hire, train and mentor 5-6 direct reports

·         Accompany sales reps on sales calls (25-30% of time)

·         Perform sales training on products and performance

·         Performance management; compensation recommendations, coaching, career development, goal tracking, evaluations

·         Conduct sales meetings

·         Review sales territories

·         Coordinate with other Sales Managers regarding all operations

·         Review/approve pricing, terms and financing of contracts for all sales activity

·         May plan or participate in product demonstrations

·         Preparation of proposals

·         Maintain contact with current or prospective customers, provide tours or factory visits

·         Provide exceptional customer service, complex transactions, solve issues

·         Sales Reports

·         Monitor sales related databases and Activity Reports

·         Participate in production and delivery/logistics of products

·         Budgets

·         Sales revenue and cost projections

·         Financial performance, appropriate actions

Requirements

·         Valid drivers license

·         Ability to safely operate other vehicles (training provided)

·         Relevant Post-Secondary education

·         Willing to travel between branches, customers and US head office

·         Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably in the material handling industry

·         5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred

·         Excellent leadership, presentation

·         Proficiency with Word and Excel

·         Strong sense of urgency and able to work with tight deadlines

·         Excellent negotiation skills
