As a key member of the logistics team, this position ensures the accurate and timely movement of products from suppliers to the customer distribution site, maintaining proper merchandise flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Review inventory levels in conjunction with sales forecasts, to determine purchasing needs

Prepare and forward order placements

Arrange inspection of finished goods

Confirm and arrange shipping dates

Work with logistics team to consolidate shipments

Correspond with local freight company for delivery of domestic orders
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

University degree or college diploma or equivalent work experience

3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Advanced computer skills are required including experience working with databases and web-based retail vendor portals

Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers, transportation and key customer contacts

Experience in demand planning and forecasting, monitoring inventory levels, submitting purchase orders to suppliers, coordinating overseas and local delivery transportation
