Operations & IT Specialist

Markham, ON

Salary:  $47500

Company paid benefits and pension plan available after waiting period completed.

Seeking an Operations & IT Specialist for our Markham client.  This role is a key member of the organization supporting all Operations and IT tasks and initiatives

In this role:

·       Assist with general warehouse operations in support of business needs

·       Utilize the warehouse management system to support the quick fulfilment of orders and connection of logistics operations

·       Assist with the operation and maintenance of Customization equipment

·       Ensure equipment, systems, and building are ready for use by means of preventative maintenance

·       Provide IT support efficiently and effectively

·       Assist with all IT hardware and software related issues

·       Responsible for IT inventory: log receipt, track movement, ensure proper maintenance

·       Monitor inventory levels and purchase supplies while adhering to established budgets

·       Maintain vendor contacts for effective company operation

·       Other duties as required

Requirements:

·       2 years’ experience in a comparable role with a consumer goods company

·       Ability to solve complex problems utilizing data analysis techniques

·       Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

·       High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

·       Advanced Microsoft Excel. Experience in SAP S4/Hana public cloud would be an asset

·       Excellent language and communication skills, both verbal and written

·       Ability to lift 50 lbs

·       Must have a valid driver’s license, their own vehicle, and the willingness/ability to travel

·       Clean criminal record
