DEMAND PLANNER – CONSUMER GOODS

MARKHAM, ON

STARTS AT $55K

Our client, a growing consumer goods company is looking to add a Demand Planner to the team.  This role will support all brands within the planning department

Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels for all divisions and brands

Analyze stock quantities to ensure inventory levels are appropriate

purchases, sales, and projected ending inventory levels.

Assist with the selection of new styles, purchasing and forecasting of product

Coordinate with purchasing, production, and sales teams to forecast demand

Analyze open orders and follow up on any overdue orders

Provide reports and updates of the order management system

Provide ongoing data validation of ERP system

Requirements

3+ years of consumer goods experience as a planner or purchasing/forecasting role

Must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong time management skills, work under pressure, ability to multitask

Able to analyze and manipulate data

Strong skills with Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or SAP S4/Hana public cloud would be strong asset

Excellent language skills, written and verbal

Flexibility regarding hours of work, some overtime may be necessary at peak times

Clean criminal background and strong professional references
