Custom Broker Manager

Mississauga

$100-120k/annually

Seeking a stellar Custom Broker Manager for our Mississauga client, this will eventually be a hybrid role.  Excellent opportunity for advancement

Requirements

·         Minimum 5+ years of relevant management experience in customs brokerage

·         10-15 years’ experience in the customs industry

·         CCS designation and customs license required

·         Strong knowledge of customs tariff, duty drawback, HS codes, and government regulations

·         Must have knowledge of CARM process

Responsibilities

·         Lead team of customs brokers, mentoring, guiding, coaching

·         Deal with all duty and customs regulatory issues, supporting the team and clients

·         Ensure entries are done in timely manner to avoid delays

·         Closing of entries in timely manner

·         E29B entries/carnet applications

·         Create/Implement customs processes to improve efficiency and compliance

·         Audits of custom entries for accuracy/compliance

·         Manage inbound imports and outbound to US and international destinations

·         Monitor ITMR regularly

·         Other duties as required
