The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping, upholding, and communicating the identity and image of all company brands. This position involves developing and implementing marketing strategies across multiple channels to convey brand values, mission, and products to target audiences. The ultimate goal is to enhance brand equity, foster consumer engagement, drive conversions, and build loyalty through market insights, creative campaigns, and collaboration across departments.

 

Responsibilities

 

Ø  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two marketing professionals.

Ø  Tailor each brand’s value proposition to resonate with target audiences and distinguish the brand from competitors.

Ø  Collaborate with sales and product planning teams to design, prioritize, and execute key growth initiatives for specific audience segments.

Ø  Partner with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure alignment of marketing efforts.

Ø  Develop and maintain unique market intelligence for target audiences, including segment size, trends, technology influences, and market indicators.

Ø  Build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and media stakeholders in the industry.

Ø  Drive sales growth through targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with company goals.

Ø  Work with the product planning team to design and execute commercial launch plans, including creating supporting content for new product launches.

Ø  Provide training and support for marketing initiatives.

Ø  Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns using data-driven metrics and optimize strategies as needed.

Ø  Adapt campaigns to reflect evolving branding, product features, and market conditions.

Ø  Manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation for maximum ROI and present monthly updates to management.

Ø  Utilize business intelligence and analytics to inform all marketing activities.

Ø  Prepare and deliver monthly activity reports to management.

Ø  Enforce consistent application of brand guidelines across all company initiatives.

Ø  Assess emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate.

Ø  Analyze data and present actionable insights to improve marketing strategies, ensuring clarity and ease of interpretation for management.

Ø  Assist the Director and Vice President with the preparation and dissemination of marketing initiatives as needed.

 

Requirements

 

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; a master’s degree is an asset.

Ø  5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or a related role in the consumer goods industry.

Ø  Creative thinker with a track record of designing effective campaigns and marketing strategies.

Ø  Strong communication, project management, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Ø  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SAP S4/Hana public cloud is a plus.

Ø  Skilled negotiator with experience securing optimal product placement with suppliers, retail partners, and other stakeholders.

Ø  Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments, including sales, marketing, and product development.

Ø  Agility to adapt strategies based on market feedback and shifting consumer trends.

Ø  Professional demeanor and polished appearance for interactions with vendors and retail partners.

Ø  Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Ø  Proficiency in crafting persuasive messaging and building relationships with retail partners.

Ø  Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Ø  Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.

Ø  Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
